A few weeks ago I went and saw the Hermès Festival des Métiers here in New York. It was pretty impressive to see the silk screen printing process they use on their scarves. They also had craftsmen and women demonstrating handbag and saddle leather working, hand painting crystal and hand placing diamonds into their jewelry (they needed a microscope to do that!).
